Note: When I posted this thread for the first time I thought a solution was found as the game was properly working for rougly a day before the issue popped up again, after attempting to fix the problem using other methods and not finding any success doing so, I decided to report this thread, sorry in advance~

New or existing player: Existing
Device type: Laptop
Connection type: Wireless
Operation system: Windows 10
Bit type: 64-bit
Description of issue: After only a few minutes of playing the screen freezes completely and then Maplestory crashes, followed up with a pop-up that states: "We have detected a hacking threat, please turn off anything that could be considered hacks".
Methods you have tried: 1) Turning off any possible program running in the background VIA the small up arrow key on the left of the taskbar.
2) Disabling any non-microsoft related start-up program VIA the System Configuration (msconfig).
3) Disabling ALL start-up programs VIA the System Configuration (I do not know if this method could solve the problem or not as it completely disabled my ability to connect to the Wi-Fi network in general, forcing me to revert all the changes.
Additional remarks: When I posted this thread for the first time there was a forums member who replied and said: "Do you lag at all when you play? It is possible that you are getting high ping when you are trying to connect to the server (even if you have decent internet, this can happen.) I've gotten the same error before too when I was experiencing high ping." (Credits to: Areonia)
The answer is yes, when I used the @check command in-game I noticed a very high ping (almost 1000) however the gameplay does seem very smooth (judging by the few minutes I actually got to play), therefore I don't think the high ping was the cause to this issue (I could obviously be wrong).
Thanks in advance to all the helpers~

Hey!

Have you tried doing a "repair installation" through Nexon Launcher by any chance? I know the issue is primarily ping related; however, maybe it could just be an issue with the files as well.

Let me know if this helps at all!

Cheers!
I tried to do it but it automatically updated my version to v170 so I may have to wait for the next update to see if it helps.
Edit: It did not seem to have solved the issue aswell.
Thanks for trying though.

The probelm has still not been fixed, I'm still open for ideas if anyone has them... a GM's attention could be nice here as well.

Run the msconfig method listed in Troubleshooting Guide and identify the program(s) that's triggering the error.

Hi and thanks for your time and effort, unfortunately I tried the steps listed in the attachment below however I received the same error every before I enabled any of the anti virus programs.
