TL;DR: Read the #verification channel on Discord.

For the most part, if you've been on Aries, and you've been waiting for verification status: chances are, you aren't alone.
So here's what I suggest: every single time a person asks for verification status, I will redirect them to this post, and they can bump the forum post to increase the visibility of the issue.

When we get upto and towards 50+ responses, perhaps Spyro, Eki and the other GMs will realize that there's definitely a problem...

That way too many people waiting for verification, and that's probably the reason why the channel won't open. They're busy people. Everyone you see that isn't verified on the Discord is waiting just like you. That's one more person they have to process MANUALLY.

Spyro says it best:

We already have a .verify command on the discord server that directs them to the verification channel which inside fully explains the process of becoming verified. There is no need for you to link a whole forum thread to the discord every time someone comes looking how to be verified. If they still do not understand that then a simple sentence telling them that verification will be open when a GM is actively doing them, and a small mention to read the #verification tab will suffice to help them in the right direction.

True, but for those tough people who can't seem to always get the idea even after redirecting them to the Discord channel, and walking them through the steps to read the description; I like having a lengthy explanation laying around anyways.

Some people tend to think that everything is fine to ping a GM at the earliest convenience, but I think there should be more importance to stress the fact that they're busy and they're people too.
