CLOSED Unable to Delete a Character

I'm trying to delete some of my characters to make more space to try new ones but when trying to delete them, it says that I can't because they're assigned to a Legion even though I already cleared my Legion board? TIA

Can you double-check if the character you're trying to delete is in a guild, or has items in the Auction House?

It had an item in the Auction House and I just removed it, re-logged and tried again and it still didn't work. It's also not in a guild.
