Abnormal status are constantly applied in this PQ, which range from harmless ones like poison to obnoxious ones such as stun and seduce, the latter 2 of which are the main reasons why anyone can even fail this PQ to begin with. Unlike normal statuses, these statuses cannot be cured by any means (hero's will, all-cure).

I don't see why there is a need for such a "custom feature". given that the amount of time spent doing this PQ is already long enough, with how slow Shammos moves and stops for no apparent reason, and that the reward for this PQ is only 12k NX. Spending the amount of time spent doing just 1 round at any decent elite map (doesn't even need to be ABC or the popular maps) is sufficient to yield 12k NX or more since you only need to kill 80~90 monsters that drop NX.

Completing 1 run doesn't even give any PQ points either, so lifting the status spam will not crash the PQ-point market, because even if this PQ did give PQ points, no casual player would do all 20 runs of both PQs in a single round of FPQ since that would easily add another 2 hours of work (6~7 min runs).

As if that wasn't bad enough, the application of these statuses often bugs the character out, and @ea spam is often necessary to even proceed with 1 run.

I do not see any good reason why this already a pain-in-the-ass PQ should be subject to a buggy status lottery where you can fail not because you suck, but because of something untimely as 2x seduce, or back-to-back stuns.

I guess it's the 5th job Hero's Will that doesn't work then.

Dispel is a fair argument and I admit I did not think of that, however it does not protect against seduce/stun which are the leading causes of failure, and I don't see why this PQ requires this amount of unnecessary obstruction to the point where only 2 classes can reliably clear it in the first place.

I also forgot to mention that this seduce/stun would have been much more tolerable if the time window for being away from the NPC actually followed the 30 second limit in GMS, instead of being only 5 seconds in AriesMS.

I agree with your points that the unnecessary CC should be removed but as a side note, dispel does remove seduce.

With the introduction of the new Familiar system, as well as the Rex PQ mobs being part of the Tyrant badge, I believe it is a good time to bring up this suggestion again.

It has been more than 2 years already and the PQ still inflicts seduce and stun more than your local succubus.

The Tyrant badge is a relatively easy badge set to get for more familiar slots, and it should not be hindered by a custom, Aries-specific feature that only serves to fail your runs. The PQ doesn't even give anything worthy enough to lock it behind an RNG-fest of frustration.
There is a difference between difficulty by skill (DPM checks, boss mechanics) vs artificial difficulty. I think it's quite clear which one this happens to be.

Party Quest Update Suggestion and change.

Reason:
Aries have some Party Quest in PQ Entry Map,
but have a problem now, player doesnt to do some PQ on there due to lower PQ Point or no PQ Point. (Example. KPQ, HPQ, IcePQ, HoblinPQ, PiratePQ, DragonPQ.)
and most player not want to do Party Quest nowday.
so i have some suggestion to update Party Quest on there.

Suggestion List: (Updating later, you can post in here if you want suggestion)
  • Update Party Player number requirement to all Party Quest on entry map. (3-6 Player in party)
  • Disable Party Quest entry when server time 23:30-24:00 due to Daily Reward Box item system suggestion.
  • Add Daily Reward Box item to get today Special Daily Reward / Replace Daily Reward System from KPQ / HPQ:
    • Similar with Daily Reward System from KPQ / HPQ, so have small chance to get random 1 different Special Daily Reward on everyday.
    • Daily Reward Box item get from all Party Quest, not just only KPQ / HPQ.
    • Daily Reward Box item expire time to Server time 23:59 on everyday. (Due to update Daily Reward on daily reset.)
    • Add option to check today Special Daily Reward when use Daily Reward Box item. (Same option from Daily Reward from KPQ / HPQ)
    • Add Daily Reward message when you get Special Daily Reward from Daily Reward Box item. (Message: Congratulations! You will get today Special Daily Reward now.)
    • You can get some small reward or special reward when opening Daily Reward Box.
    • Daily Reward Box suggestion special item list: (Special Daily Reward will have different random 3 special item list on everyday.)
      • Special Medal of Honor
      • Nodestone (x20) (Untradable)

    • Add PQ Points to IcePQ / HoblinPQ / DragonPQ.
  • Remove Maple Points gained from all PQ.
  • Improve some Party Quest experience:
    • Add How long to doing Party Quest until finish message. (Message: You finish Party Quest in xx Minute (s) xx Second (s).)
    • Make Party Quest item to not apply Drop Rate % effect.
    • Remove Mesos Drop from all Party Quest mobs.
    • Remove random debuffs when start IcePQ / HoblinPQ.
    • Update KPQ Stage 1 Question database.
    • Add option to check again KPQ Stage 4 calculate answer.
If update Party Quest, have some things:
  • More reward on Party Quest, and not just PQ points and buying from PQ shop anymore.
  • Balance Party Quest Point Gained to other Party Quest.
  • Add similar 2x chance rate effect event to Daily Reward in future.
  • Reduce dependence on Monster Park.
  • Resolve some issue to some Party Quest.
  • Resolve some Party Quest no one to do, and players ignore other Party Quest nowday.

What is the reasoning for removing FPQ limit entries? I assume it's there so it won't be abused by members to keep farming PQ points. While I do think there should be a bit more changes to FPQ, I'm not sure if lowering the rewards would be the right incentive to attract players to participate.

First, you need check again list. It include update PQ points to similar KPQ / HPQ.

Second, make this suggestion is nice for server and player both.

Third, Party Quest need to update, still keep limit entries is not good to player enjoyable.

Forth, if just making nice to FPQ only, and ignore other PQ exist, will making no one to do other PQ then now.

I have some experiences things and played in past, so have some suggestion to this.

As a way of improving FPQ, why would you want to lower the rewards on ones that people do instead of improve the ones that people rarely do? (HPQ/KPQ).

Like I said, I do agree that there should be some changes to PQ in the PQ Entry Map. I think it's great that you have experience and played before, so have I. But stating that making this nice for server and players both doesn't really explain anything and I think elaborating might make for some better suggestions and discussion

For PQ point gained, if not update PQ point gained per round to same as KPQ / HPQ,
think player will too easy to get PQ point and unbalance when only change unlimit entries to FPQ, and player still ignore other PQ.

If want making player enjoyable to Party Quest,
think should make PQ to unlimit entries round, add daily reward to all PQ,
not just only PQ shop, and don’t ignore other PQ anyway.

1. Its lower then now for sure, because re-balance PQ point and unlimit entries round to all PQ,
but have more PQ points when finish in one day of the week. (Every PQ will have different day.),
and add Daily Reward System from KPQ / HPQ (but different list to other PQ),
I have some experiences things for this, so you can thinking why i suggest to this.

2. Because both PQ has unlimit entries in every day, and you still can getting lower PQ point from both PQ, and still faster finish then FPQ.

Since 2017 PQ revamp, player still looking to PQ points per round, and more reward (Nebulite ticket piece before remove) only,
and still ignore other PQ due to lower PQ point gained or no PQ point when finish.

If player want to make PQ enjoyable, and better PQ experience,
re-blance PQ points per round, unlimit entries round, add bonus reward (Daily Reward) to all PQ is a part to update / revamp suggestion, and is an integral part of.

this suggestion have more long-term suggestion, and better extensions in the future.

And to be honest, the unlimited part isn't even relevant at this point because the level gap when recruiting was removed and the points are account-shared. People can just switch characters and follow a meta that skips all the PQs which take too much time without good reward (just like the Floor 40 Dojo meta or the VJ MP meta).

Besides, if we exclude that unlimited part, the gameplay of both HPQ and KPQ are extremely boring. As a constant FPQ host for a year long, every KPQ I ever did with friends ended up being a suffering.

Finally, unless your daily reward is appealing enough to compete with Dojo, MP, Pure Farming, Boss Run, future Oz (maybe?), I don't see this suggestion being anywhere close to an improvement, but more of another one of your "implement this because of GMS" threads.

So i have list Daily Reward system to other PQ, and bonus PQ points gained / more chance Daily Reward suggestion to all PQ,
you can suggest more item list to Daily Reward,
and you have this kind of thinking, no wonder is difficult to make a radical improvement suggestion to Party Quest.

Why you think those Party Quest suggestion are just making more GMS like, what list are already added in GMS?
If you still thinking this suggestion is making PQ to more GMS like,
basically you can ignore this suggestion post, because those suggestion are not from GMS.

To make a radical improvement, you need to tackle the root problem of the thing itself. However, you are still refraining from suggesting:
+ A daily reward list which is subjectively considered to be appealing.
+ A reason why further nerfing FPQ point rate (PQ Points/Hour) is needed.

Else, such a big change/revamp like this suggestion is purely random.

One question I wanna ask is this same question as Soramii already did for me.

Why would you ever lower the incentive of FPQ and expect people to run it more often?

As a loyal FPQ runner for a year, I am only interested in your daily reward list just to see if it's appealing enough for people to actually suffer from JQs (like Oz) instead of brainless MP and Dojo.

In my own brazen opinion, right now, one hour of Oz, even with the RNG factor of the box, is worth doing compared to FPQ. Both requires no gears, close to no damage, pure mechanics. Why not turn FPQ into somewhat a party Oz?

I disagree with it being unlimited considering there are ppl with multiply pcs that could get 6x the amount everytime

You will basically create a PQ points factory

It sadden me but its true that you always need to consider the extreme cases even though were only 200~300 players ingame

First, you need read my suggestion again,
I already said remove PQ limit entries, should be nerf FPQ is only option to choose,
but someone disagree to nerf FPQ.

Second, I already consider this things,
so have nerf FPQ suggestion, but add Daily Reward to FPQ.

Party Quest need to update again,
not just update item in PQ shop and FPQ only,
please don’t ignore other PQ anyway.

In my peak FPQ days, no one has ever run more than 25 chars a day, let alone 48 runs (let's say constantly 30 mins/run). Why is the "unlimited entry" still a reason???

And do you remember the update that cut the PQ counts by half? FPQ immediately bloomed after that update. Why? Because people don't like JQs.

Still not, because still need to switch character,
and have a problem, if leader find out new member and kick old member,
old member will mad to leader why kick member?

I have some bad experiences for this in past,
but this bad experiences are not in this server and any Party Quest.

In my peak FPQ days, no one has ever run more than 25 chars a day, let alone 48 runs (let's say constantly 30 mins/run). Why is the "unlimited entry" still a reason???
Because want to making player enjoyable, and add Daily Reward to there,
so why I still saying unlimit entry is only option.
