Hi i am new to the sever, would like to know the answer to a few questions
1) which set armour should i be aiming for at the start?
2) Also would like to know where can i farm other than MP and PQs once i get stronger?
3) Would also like to know the current prices of stuff like VP, Red cubes?
4) What can i do with maple leaves? are they even still useful?
5) Do i red cube my eq from rare to legendary?

1) At the very beginning, you should get the Japanese set. Once you start earning some mesos, aim for CRA set.
2) MP is the best place to farm, even later on, but you can also farm nodestones + mesos in the future (Path to Coral Forest 4 is best)
3) VP is about 30~35m I think, red cube stacks about 70~75m?
4) You can use those to level up, although most people stop at 80~100. It's useful for when you're leveling up mules.

1) When you're starting out, it's best to use them to sell violet cubes (vcubes) which cost 2500 RP and is roughly around 600m or so? Later on, you can use them for miracle circulators for inner ability and additional pendant slots.
2) Depends on what you need, because people use them for hammers/psok/bpot scrolls/cubes/etc., but if you want to make mesos with NX, you can gamble on SSB (more info on it here) or sell nx as it is.
3) You can use old maple coins to sell red cubes/premium miracle cubes/fast learners/clean slate scrolls and new maple coins to sell (or use) bonus potential cubes.

The two cubes have different functions. Premium miracle cubes are used to increase the number of lines of main potential on your item if there is less than 3, and are not usable on legendary items. Meanwhile red cubes are used to increase the potential rank up to legendary and to roll for the lines you want.

It's also the lazy way to cube from rare to unique, since you can use the NPC in FM to spam premium miracle cubes.

Can I ask one more thing? Do people get 100insighr before cubing or do they just cube with the 450k tax? If they do get 100 insight, how then do I get 100 insight on this server?

Insight only affects revealing and not cubing iirc, so most people don't have 100 insight. If you want to level it up though, you can do that through mining or trait items in monster park shop.

1) does getting 100 insight make cubing free or no matter what you have to pay the 450k tax on 150 eqs?
2) at what point do you cube your eqs for stats instead of item drop %? When you farm do you still use your item drop eqs even for farming nx and old and new maple coins?
3) when bossing do you change into drop gear just before the boss dies?

1. You will still have to pay the tax on 150 eqs. I have 100 insight.
2. Usually when you start getting enough mesos to have two sets of equips. Normally people have a set of drop equips they will switch out with their actual gear. You can always do it slowly and step by step. Farming MP should net you quite a bit of cash due to the prices right now, and even with inflation the meso is still good.
3. If your range is low with drop gear on, then that is an option. This is what a lot of people do.
