Hello

I think we need a sink for maple leafs. Nobody really buys them anymore as most of the community is fairly old. Also, the need for them for onyx secondaries is gone since pno replaced them as BiS

When farming normal maps your inventory gets filled at ~ 1:1 maple leaf: old maple coin rate. It gets filled quite quickly.

I propose we add an option to obtain some of the lesser seen things in the game. For instance: 1 stack of maple leaf = 1 black cube. (at current price of maple leafs (5m/st) that would mean a stack of black cube come out to be ~500m, which is a worse price than buying for new maple coin (1300/1800 * (price of bpot)). We could also make these black cubes untradeable, to lessen the impact on the market (not sure if this is possible).

As black cubes aren't really used to cube mpot in lategame, this would maybe help provide some "transition" cubes for midgame players.

If we don't want to add any options that can "progress" a character, then maybe adding an option to gamble them for untradeable damage skins/chairs would be nice.

Another option would be to make a "trait potion shop" that would trade them for the items that give charm, empathy, insight, etc. (GMS recently had Wondroid event that made it very easy to max all of these traits, in Aries it's harder to do).

Either way, throwing them out feels like a waste, but selling them is becoming increasingly hard. I think some maple leaf sink is needed.

+1 for trading them in for trait boost potions. MP coins are harder and harder to come by since less and less people are running and selling nowadays.

Or completely remove Maple Leaf + mass-leveling with leaves and add an incremental account-wide x amount EXP% Rate increase based on the number of characters that have reached a certain Level. I'm referring to the EXP Rate that players see when you type '@check' command.

For example:
  • Lv.200: +2% EXP per Character
  • Lv.250: +4% EXP per Character
  • Lv.275: +6% EXP per Character
  • Lv.300: +10% EXP per Character (4% increase because Lv.300 is bonkers)
Don't take the values seriously, I didn't calculate them, they're just there to give an idea. Just something that I briefly mentioned to Nova once but was never really drafted into plan.

The fact that a currency exists, means there's an unnecessary need to add ways to utilize the currency and tap onto already tight-strapped rewards that could be reserved for other content of the game.

Doing this also incentivizes raising the level of other characters aside for Legion.
