I tried searching for this topic before posting, but I’m a fairly new player, so forgive me if this has been suggested already;
In the past, I have played in private servers where you could input your PIC with your keyboard instead of using the random number pad given to you. I’m not sure how easy it is to implement, but I do know that it would make logging in and out of mains and mules marginally more efficient.
As a laptop player, I use my trackpad 90% of the time while playing, so inputting my PIC through the random number pad can be a huge encumbrance. Implementing this change would help me better manage my time as an active player and would benefit many people who also play on their laptops.
The only con I can think of would be that it would make players more susceptible to keylogging, and if that’s enough to kill this suggestion, then so be it. I consider account security a greater priority than a mere inconvenience. However, please consider this suggestion as a benefit to people who use a trackpad to play this game and how that would help us better navigate the UI.
