As most players here know, having a kishin mule, or a kishin seller, is the most optimal way to train. However, not everyone has 2 pcs, and not every Kanna player is available to sell kishin service. (I know, because that happened to me a few times, where there were literally nobody that would buy, even after I raised my offer).

So, this idea actually comes courtesy of MapleSEA, because they are basically in the same situation as us in regards to kishin: no totems, but their kishin player can sell svc, as their kishin is not nerfed, unlike GMS, TMS or CMS.
So, what does a player who do not have a 2nd pc. nor have the mesos to buy svc do? They instead train in the biggest map in each area. While this does make training harder, it does give players a chance to train at the same pace as a kanna player.
You may be wondering: Couldn't a kanna player also train at a large map to get double benefit? Yes, they could, but it is much harder to be efficient at map clearing with kishin in a larger map + they still need to pick up the drops, so they stick to mediium size maps instead.

Coming back to Aries, many of the biggest map in each area in the arcane river, aside from ChuChu and Morass, do not have good spawn rates/density. So improving them would give some more choices in training areas. For example. the radiant temple maps in Esfera are big, but their spawn density is not as good as the coral forest maps in Morass.
Similar to Maplesea, there isn't anything preventing a 2-PC player with a kishin mule, or a kanna player using the big map for double benefit, but it gives those who have neither, a chance to catch up training wise.
Thus, I would like to suggest that such big maps in the arcane river have their spawn density/rate improved to give more options for training areas, as well as to help those without a 2nd pc nor a kishin seller.

We'll be looking to balance out the spawn rates of the maps in the Arcane River to ensure that further regions such as Arcana and beyond remain as a viable option.

We will, however, not be modifying any spawn rates based on their map size.

Your perspective is flawed, and you believe that players who are equipped with the most efficient methods of training will leave a map (that has a better base spawn rate than they currently use with a much larger area) alone? If such maps existed, it would be full of players flocking to the best possible map, leaving those whom you mentioned, with the lesser map.

I can see your point generally; nash equalibrium and min-maxing after all.
My general concern was that 2-pc is an unhealthy meta for training, and that modifying spawn of some maps can offset that.
Glad that the Aries team is looking into the spawns of maps in the Arcane River.

As mentioned here, the Staff Team will be implementing Wild and Fury Totems in an upcoming update, which will allow players without a 2nd PC/laptop to still have access to "Kishin". This will give every player the ability to increase the spawn rate of any map they choose to do so, and allow them to train where they wish. With the addition of these totems, the Staff Team will not be buffing any maps at the moment.

Denied.
