Hello. Writing this for a friend who plays with me, cos his English is limited.

Just a few days ago he went afk in the game for a bit, and then came back. His game started going in slow-mo. Like 1 fps. Not a fps drop, more like a constant state of 1fps. His whole game is just a slideshow or something. He restarted the computer, and it didn't fix it. He updated his windows and then when he restarted, it worked again. And then a few hours later, it did the fps thing again. It's not like his fps is dropping or anything, or his computer is using too much space (he has nothing else on), it'sjust a constant state of 1fps. When he played other games there was no issue.

His computer is a desktop with decent specs that can run prreetty much every single game smoothly, so it's not a normal FPS issue. May I know if anyone else had this situation before and how they fixed it?

Thank you so much!

I recommend disabling background (Quick Move > Universal NPC > Toggle Background), as well as lowering in-game Skill Effect Transparency all the way to transparent. I'd also recommend lowering the quality to lowest in the in-game settings as well.

If it's still happening, ask your friend to record a video of the lag happening.
