Cannot lift curse. Always at (1 sec) left

The game often kicks me out of the server. Once I log back on and get back on any character, it puts a curse on every map I'm in, and when I try to lift the curse. It keeps telling me there is (1 sec) left until I can lift it. But it just doesn't change from there. Any channel, any character it'll do it. It stops after some period of time, and sometimes it takes over a hour to stop.
