Can some of the Pitched Boss Set items be added?

For reference, here's the full set for anyone who hasn't seen them before. To my knowledge, we do already have the Spellbooks from Will in Aries, but the rest of these items don't seem to be present. Some of them simply can't make it in, most notably the Black Heart due to it essentially ruining every other heart in the game by a longshot, reducing the server's profits. I don't expect that to ever make it in, however- I think that a few of the others would be reasonable. I'd really appreciate if the Magic Eyepatch in particular was available, because not only is it a very strong eye accessory, I also believe it looks quite appealing! It would be great for either wearing or anvilling onto other eye accessories! It's a bit similar to Damien's Eyepatch from a past Surprise Style Box, but still visually different enough to be included I think. Here's a comparison (Magic Eyepatch on the left, Damien's Eyepatch on the right):

Not only the eyepatch though, I think that the Dreamy Belt and Source of Suffering (At least when Hilla 2 is released) would be fine additions as well, not breaking anything too badly. Berserked might be okay, but it would be a far larger step up from Sweetwater than the Eyepatch. And the Genesis badge might be a little too much of a power jump again when Black Mage comes out. However, if the staff wants the BIS items to grow a bit, those would both be great options to do so with. Hopefully this wasn't too boring to read through, but I think a lot of these items are really cool and would make a great addition to Aries if they're possible. Thanks for reading all of this, and if there's some reason these items are being avoided at the moment, I apologize- I'm not totally in the loop with dev stuff around Aries.

Huh? I wasn't asking about when the new bosses were coming out- I was just asking if the drops for the bosses that are accessible will be released. The suggestion was for Damien/Lucid/Lotus to drop their Pitched Boss Set items, like Will already does. For all of the future bosses, I added "When X is released", since they're not out yet.

Exactly, Your reply is not addressing this issue. Why are these equips not made available?? That’s the question.
Yeah, exactly. Plus, since we already have one part of the Pitched Boss Set in the form of Will's book pocket item, it's a bit odd that the others aren't available. The only reasoning I could think of (Excluding some sort of technical limitations I wouldn't know about) would be not wanting to powercreep sweetwater items. And that doesn't quite make sense as Will's book is currently the BIS pocket item on Aries, and increasingly powerful items coming out with new patches is just kind of the way of Maple.

This is actually a good idea (tbh why are these items not released in the first place? Maybe this thread should be in the bug report section since spellbook is available and others aren’t?) because not alot of players I know kill damien or lotus since absolab items are not as profitable as arcane items from lucid and will. Maybe if we add these items, many people will actually kill these bosses and enjoy bossing because lets be honest, soul shards, droplets, and etc are good but kinda UNDERWHELMING for the work and funding you put into kill these bosses. Lets make bossing fun again by adding this rewards.

Also for those that are worried about losing their “already made” SW tattoo, monocle and belt, I dont think its a huge concern since the droprate for these items will be low and most people will still use SW items and tyrant belts. (Just like how Spellbook is rare and most people use holy cup or codex for heka) Also the lotus black heart expires after some time so that shouldn't replace outlaw heart as BIS so that is not a concern either for those that are saying its too “OP”.

I believe one of the strengths of Aries's economy is it's straightforwardness for BIS-setups. The BIS for each slot is pretty much fixed in stone, and can be accessed pretty early in the game for most players.

It is almost impossible to find alternative options which are close in power to the recommended bis-guide. eg .(reinforced ring+pendant+belt instead of using 2sgp and tyrant belt to get 3 reinforced set for example) or (well scrolled blackbean mark + pink bean holy cup + 1 other item for boss set) are possibilities but even then, they don't give much value in doing so. ( alternative sets which give only slightly less power at much lower prices is when such things become viable)

Comparing this to GMS, where the BIS set-up is a mix of arcane sweetwater transposed equip set, where there are still alternatives (fafnir top bottom) and many conditional cases where you'd want to build otherwise, creates a lot of headache for the casual player.

Introducing all items from the pitched boss set will bring about changes in the bis setup, but complicate the game a ton more. A discussion on ''dreamybelt being eventual BIS due to it being level 200 and max 25star with set effect, but at what point would it beat a high* sgb/tyrant, and would it even be viable then?'' can be lenghty and technical, which is something a ton of casuals in maplestory would avoid. Having things be easy to understand and explainable to everyone is a feature that I feel is a good thing for the players and the server.

Furthermore, dslotting of items is one of the major DP sinks in the game (imo). Dslotting is usually only used on equipment people have decided will be BIS and can invest heavily into them. Dslotting of absolab/ tyrant gears are now considered wastes of DP. By introducing an upgrade in terms of a base equipment, the dslots on the outdated items will drop heavily in value, and people from then on will avoid dslotting such equipments. This can have a very negative impact on the economy in the sense that people are witholding their dp to dslot until they get endgame equipment which can take a very long time. ( or imagine people dslotting and using a dreamy belt 16* costing 35k DP that adds less range than a 12* tyrant that costs 1.5k dp just because it's eventual BIS) Such interactions can be very disheartening for players.

Most of the BIS equipment in Aries is easily obtainable. Progression comes in the sense of cubing, scrolling , and eventually starring. This makes the extra 3% more stats on the equipment worth an extra 3k DP. Or an extra 10wa from miraculous chaos scrolls worth 3k dp. A 19th star costing an extra 5k dp. The tiny improvements in item progression cost signficantly more and more. This also heavily promotes the use of dslots early, as the early 1-4k dp investments of 2-5slots can add more than boosting the stats in other ways. Eventually, the useage of B nebs or even A nebs which cost a difference of 20k DP for just 2% stats. The ease of understanding of such progression is straightforward. Changing the bis set-up and adding complications in the sense of conditional upgrading, will not only confuse players in terms of choice, but heavily impact the economy in terms of item value.

As stated by previous comments, it's not like Aries has not released new BIS items. The cursed spellbooks was a recent addition which changed the bis for pocketslots , and only a month ago the Pno secondaries which changed the BIS for secondary slot for most jobs. These items which cannot be starred or scrolled and do not contribute to any set effect as of now , have eased into the game.

As such, I do not support the release of all items from the pitched boss set into Aries for mainly these 2 reasons.
1. Complicating the game for casuals.
2. Drastically shaking up the game economy.

However, berserked and the magic eye patch, are direct upgrades to the sweetwater equipments for the face and eye accessories and would not complicate the game much, but still drastically shakeup the game economy. I personally would not mind them being introduced as drops to Hlotus and Hdamien seeing as those are not being attempted by much players. This change would however, greatly benefit the end-game players, and whether players should be given access to avenues of more income is a point for discussion. (The easiest way to earn mesos should always be to donate to incentivise donating.) A possibly more fair method would be low droprates from easy/normal lotus and damien, with a high droprate for hard. This makes the item somewhat easily accesible, not monopolized by end game players, but still promote hlotus and damien.
