For a few days now I have been selling/giving leech to customers and friends. As you know normally when you reach level 250 your character should not receive anymore EXP. Instead because in AriesMS we have paragon levels the people you leech do not receive full exp due to your character still being able to receive exp. My suggestion is to add a command so that once someone reaches lv250 and enters the realm of Paragon, they would be able to temporarily disable ANY exp from being acquired by their character. This would allow all EXP to funnel into the people(your party) who you are leeching either as a service or a favor for friends. We do have the @exprate command but that instead changes the amount of exp gotten in "total" instead of disabling the exp to be acquired by the killer.

The only way in AriesMS to achieve not being able to get exp as the killer is to become p50(which i am working on).

With this command suggestion it would allow me to quicken the time it takes me to leech people as well as potentially lower the costs making it more accessible to newer players without many resources to pay for fairly expensive leech service. Which directly would help them get their legion levels up that much more due to AriesMS having a limited availability of extra character slots.

But Why?

Like any other game, the level cap of the game is what determines whether or not you continue to gain EXP. On GMS the level cap there is 250, on Aries the level cap (At the moment) is the additional 50 Paragon Levels. Like every other MMORPG or game out there, you should continue to gain EXP until you reach this level cap it simply doesn't make sense to add a command like this.

With that said, while this is an extremely self-less command (in the sense that you're claiming that it'll be used for you to leech others) I don't see this helping with lowering the current leeching prices? If anything it'll simply allow the leech sellers to have a higher turn over rate and earn more money because it'll be "quicker"?

Have you also confirmed whether or not being p50 actually makes leeching quicker? How would you know if you're still working on getting P50?

This idea seems too incomplete IMO.

Pretty sure this is false, P50 players will still "receive" the exp as the system that splits EXP does not care if the player is max level in anything, it checks if there is a party and distributes exp appropriately as such (this is how it works in most source codes).

Another suggestion utilizing the “newer players” argument...

Leech is already such a broken thing to have in a game. Why does a leveling technique in which every player but one can sit and afk need to be made easier? If someone wants the option to train faster, they can always make some gear and train the character themselves.

Leech is a luxury service and does not need costs lowered. Leveling is quick enough for something like leeching at the moment, and I don’t believe it’s something that needs to be changed.

In no way would this lower the cost, all it would do is increase the cost since players who are p50 can charge more for leech where the leecher gets more exp. Instead of "helping" the new players all your doing is helping yourself and creating a larger gap between endgame and midgame players.
