Aries.exe not Launching after starting the client

I try to launch Aries with Nexon Launcher running in the background and it asks for permission to run, which I click yes, then it doesn't do anything. The game was working just fine on Thursday, I didn't log on at all on Friday, and now today it will not launch at all.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated. I have tried multiple fixes including AV/Exceptions, disabling firewall and av, reinstalling the client, nothing works.

I had the same problem, the reason was in an auto update of windows defender, it suddenly found and disabled a "trojan" called Occamy.
Try do a windows defender scan and see whether it finds some "trojans".
Basically, even if aries is in the allowed section, windows defender sees it as a trojan and blocks it, therefore running the client does nothing.

The thing that fixed it for me was disabling App & browser control.

Simply open your windows defender,
Its will show you if you have any “harm virus” on your pc,
Its should be 2 files called torgan somethibg like that… (if it aint show, download again ariesms launcher and try run it so it be pop up).

then in “action” press “allowed” and thats it.
