This is a somewhat detailed guide on Tower of Oz and what each floor entails. There will be pictures, videos, playlists, use them as you see fit.

Shout-out to Capricorn/Dragonmaze (Timmy) on helping me start off in Oz on Aries!

The Tower of Oz is a timed 50 map sequence in which the player attempts to clear or get as far as they can before the time runs out. The tasks the player must do while in those maps varies from kill quests to collection quests to jump quests. There will also be various trivia floors which I will attempt to help you prepare for.

It is HIGHLY recommended that you use a Pet Vac and have the Rope Lift node skill as they will greatly reduce the time you spend climbing.

On your first time in the Tower of Oz, you must talk to Alicia in order to unlock your pill slot for 5m. The 2nd to 5th pill slots will all require you to pay 10/28/55/80m meso and 10/28/55/80k Oz Points. Oz points are gained from either clearing a floor or opening an Oz Pouch which are dropped from bosses. Oz points will primarily be used to buy Stupid Pills. Each of these pills help extend our timer by 2/5/8/13/16 minutes respectively. It is recommended that you ALWAYS buy the prescription pills as the "generic" pills cost more, give you less time with the upside that they are tradeable, and there are garbage.

You will absolutely need the "Helper Item", aka the Clever Lady Hotline. This item is necessary on a few of the floors as well as being an easy way to exit your run early.
Of course, finishing a run or running out of time will have you kicked out of the tower. Based on how far you got, you will receive a ranked chest, varying from rank 10 to rank 1. Ranks increase every 5 floors, and will use your last CLEARED floor. There is also a bug where if you get kicked out of the tower via Death or being too far away from the NPC you are supposed to escort, you will not receive a rank chest. If this has been fixed, please contact me so I can edit this.

Based on your highest floor cleared and time it took to clear up to that floor, you will also be entered into the Oz ranking board. Every Sunday, the ranking will reset and the reward is given based on your rank. #1 will get the Tower of Oz Legend Emblem, #2-5 will get the Tower of Oz Master Emblem, and #6-10 will get the Tower of Oz Expert Emblem. These emblems last 5 days and cannot be traded nor recubed.

Without further ado, the guide for each of the floors!

Floor 1: Kill 300 mobs or deal 50m in damage.

Floor 2: You must kill mobs in order to collect purple cards. The cards, when looted, will turn into a Red/Blue/Yellow/Green card with a number from 1-7. You must place the corresponding colored card on the corresponding colored pillar. In GMS, the order in which you place these do not matter but on Aries, you MUST place it in the order Blue, Yellow, Red, Green (Right to Left). If you have a pet vac/pet loot, turn it off before killing the mobs as you will want control over which cards you loot and when you loot them.

Floor 3: Kill turtles and loot eggs. Every egg will give you a random amount of eggs, and you clear the stage when you hit 1000. Pet vac is recommended for this stage as it speeds up the process.

Floor 4: This stage uses the gimmick of "Balance Points". The basis of this stage is that every monster is worth either +5 or -5 balance points depending on how many you have. If you have 0-100, every mob on the left will give +5 whereas every mob on the right will give -5. If you have 105-200, the mobs on the left will give -5 and the mobs on the right side will give +5. Finally, if you have 205-300, the mobs on the left give you +5 balance points and the ones on the right give -5. The goal is to reach 300 balance points.

Floor 5: Rest stage. You probably will not want to stay on rest stages for too long, there used to be a bug where the timer kept ticking even if it did not visually decrease, and would eventually kick you out. Your ranking timer will still increase while you are on rest stages.

Floor 6: You must earn 300 points to pass the floor. Every slime will give you 1 point, and occasionally, a king slime will spawn that gives you 20 points when killed.

Floor 7: Kill 100 monkeys. If you're a boosted monkey you should probably afk here since this is your home [SUP][SUP][SUP][/SUP][/SUP][/SUP].

Floor 8: Kill 100 Bugs.

Floor 9: Its basically a reverse Romeo and Juliet teleport stage. You have to guess which of the 4 platforms teleports you downwards. The correct platform, once you have used it, will have a glittery glow on it

Floor 10: Spider Boss. Kill him, loot the point pouches, move on!
Floor 11: Kill 300 Golems

Floor 12: Finish the JQ. Video.

Floor 13: Move to the portal on the far right of the map while killing all the mobs and dodging the Magnus balls. Be warned that the JQ floors WILL remove all your pets, so either remember to turn them on again or manually pot up.

Floor 14: Walk to the portal. Nova was too lazy to code this minigame.

Floor 15: Rest Floor

Floor 16: Kill 200 Gators

Floor 17: Another JQ floor, this time, you must JQ with restricted vision. Video. Map.

Floor 18: Break boxes to get coconuts. Memorize the locations where you get them from, they are always in those boxes.

Floor 19: Escort the NPC to the end. WARNING: If you get too far from the NPC, you will likely get kicked in a matter of seconds. There are also a few bugs where the NPC disappears if you get far away and also it is highly recommended you turn off anything that creates summons that attack. Uncontrollable attack-type summons (Soul Seeker, Assassin's Mark) have/had a bug that causes them to be able to attack the NPC you are escorting.

Floor 20: Kill the Tin Man, loot point pouches, move on.
Floor 21: Kill 300 mobs until the boss spawns. Killing the boss will clear the floor.

Floor 22: A JQ filled with hidden holes, thorns, and clouds. Video. Map. Falling all the way to the bottom will result in a time loss penalty, so be careful on this floor.

Floor 23: Another JQ, this time its invisible. Map. Note that all the platforms on this floor's JQ are evenly spaced, so you can almost just get through it by pressing jump over and over at the right time. If you fall to the bottom on this map, you will not get a time penalty. You will however need to use the Clever Lady Hotline to teleport you back to your last saved spot, which would be the last Portal you used. If you did not use one, it will teleport you to the start.

Floor 24: Music Stage! Attempt to enter the portal, then correctly name the town to the BGM that is playing. Note that the BGM is NOT 100% what the town plays (#BlameNova) and also some areas are not strictly "towns" (CASH SHOP ISN'T A TOWN NOVA).

Floor 25: Rest Stage

Floor 26: This floor is now GMS like. The top middle platform will continously spawn orange slimes. You can however force spawn slimes by dropping the orange ETCs on the altar 10 at a time. The goal is to kill 300 slimes.

Floor 27: Mini Jump quest-ish thing. There are various "paths" and all except 1 are incorrect. Incorrect paths will warp you back to the start of that section, but nothing really else beyond that.

Floor 28:
6VYpXRE.jpg

Much like this picture implies, we are going to pound that tree hard. In fact, you pound it hard enough with your auto attacks that it spawns 10 mobs every time, 5 on the left, 5 on the right. Kill 40 mobs to proceed.

Floor 29: Kill 100 Sand Dwarfs.

Floor 30: Kill the Cowardly Lion. His first move is usually to go invisible and his movement is programmed to move away from you.
Floor 31: Kill 200 Fairies. (Starting to see a trend?)

Floor 32: You must jump on the spring pads and kill all the monsters on the non-existent platform at the top of the map. If you cannot attack midair, you MUST have a summon or a soul weapon that is a summon or you will not be able to clear this stage.

Floor 33: Clever Lady Hotline is ABSOLUTELY needed here. In order to proceed, you must buy keys from the hotline. You can buy keys in sets of 1, 2, or 3, and it will give you 1/2/3 Clockwise and Counterclockwise key. Dropping a key on the portal will turn the arrow 90% Clockwise/Counterclockwise. The portal you are aiming for is at the far bottom right (Arrow must point down at bottom left). There is also a bug where the top left portal where you spawn will not work if the arrow is pointed to the right, therefore your first move is always to go down 1.

Floor 34: Kill the yellow cows to get their leather. Once you have 10 leather, you can take the portal at the far left and right to go to the top at the cost of 10 leather per trip. Then you must collect 10 Purple Leather from the cows at the top in order to clear. Be warned that the purple cows heavily knock you back regardless of if you have stance or not, so kill fast or collect extra leather first.

Floor 35: Rest Floor.

Floor 36: This is a repeat the pattern floor. Talk to the NPC, this will start her on showing you a pattern of Snails, Pigs, Slimes, and Mushrooms. You must hit the pattern exactly as shown after or during her display. If you make a mistake, you will be penalized time.

Floor 37: Kill 400 Mobs

Floor 38: Talk to the One Who Fights The Darkness and a picture of a mob will appear on your screen. Only that mob will give you points toward progression, and you need 1000 points to clear. Each mob (if displayed) will add 10 points, and attacking the wrong mob will not penalize you. You will however need to keep an eye on the display as it will change to another mob after a period of time.

Floor 39: Talk to the NPC, answer the trivia questions. Most of them are easy or obvious, if you do not know it, Google. I would make a list but most are so easy it honestly is not worth it.

Floor 40: Scarecrow. The most F U N and I N T E R A C T I V E boss in the tower. You stand on top of the part of the map that looks like its on fire. Then you die. Then you wait for scarecrow to die. Then you revive. Alternatively, if you are really bored, you can jump around and try to keep him in the fire zone. He will only take damage from the fire zone, and your attacks and DoTs will deal 10s to him. He will also summon lightning strikes that OHKO (Think Magnus' Yellow attack) and will occasionally try to seal you. He can drop the Aquarius Crown (22 slot 1 all stat 1 mg and 1 wp att hat) as well as having a super high chance of dropping 5% CSS along with the point pouches.
Here's a guide for Floor 49! I wish you good luck!

On Floor 49, Talk to Dorothy to begin. The monsters that will appear inside the cage are random, shaded and may or may not repeat again. Answering the name of the monster to Dorothy incorrectly will remove 5 minutes from the Stupid Timer.

Objective: Answer the correct name of the monster inside the cage 5 times.

Tips: Press ESC and try double clicking the monster to receive the name, however this doesn't apply to all monsters and you will need to guess if it doesn't work.

Warning: Answering the first question incorrectly might cause the NPC to not give you any more chances in completing this floor. (I don't remember if Nova fixed this or not)

Here's a list of the monsters with their images on Floor 49 that I have seen so far. I'm sure that these are a majority of the monsters given, but you may post below anymore you discover or whatever you'd like. Unfortunately, I don't have an image of Chronos in Floor 49 so I replaced it with how it looks like normally. I've set the list out in the alphabetical order (A-Z). Hope that helps.
