Create a Main character or Farming character?

Hello guys! I am wondering, whether should i create my main character first or start off with a farming character like ' Luminous'? I need help!! I asked a few people and read most of the guides and guides are telling us to farm, but then if lets say i wanna main Night Lord and its very expensive to buy the eqs when i just started from scratch. So should i create a Luminous to farm till I have the capital to fund my Night Lord or... just straight away start Night Lord and slowly fund myself?

Second question i would like to ask is... Whether to create link skills before ANY character or create main first ?

~~~~~Definitely I will create the class that I am going to main first. Training it till lvl 200 ~~~~~~~~~~~~

Please Help and advise me/everyone . I hope im not the only one thinking about this :(

1) Define farming. NL can be pretty good in farming as well. With proper training NL can clear knight stronghold MP within 1-1.05. Which is pretty okay (not the greatest but definitely okay).

2) Either way is fine. Eventually you’ll need the link skill. So it’s really your decision to make.

Just play what you feel like it. Don’t create a character just for the sake of farming. You’ll enjoy the game more.

my farming as in like farming as elite mp3, elite abc, elite ulu or elite spider thingy map like these kind.

1) Maybe in the future if you want to farm monster park for optimal times, you can make a farming mule. But for monster maps, any class with decent mobbing can get the job done. For NL, mobbing is a joke, especially in the maps you mentioned.

2) Definitely do all your links first. This will make training your main easier and you will have a small pocket of funds when you’re done (use the free pet on each one while you grind). Links also provide a nice chunk of benefits for your main.

Your number 1 is all wrong. A Night Lord can clear the first 4 stages of Vanishing Journey within a minute.

If you do not like to waste time creating sub chara just for farming and would suggest cut the chase start building main character first. For everything else is secondary.

You wouldn't want to farm in the outside maps once you've seen the 2b/hr gain from MPing. An NL seems to be the best of both worlds as you can use it as a main and also farm all 6 stages of VJ under a minute. If you get bored of the NL you can always switch to other branches of luk like DB/Shadower/NW with your nl gears.
Link skills' boost in damage isnt noticeable until your character is already quite fleshed out, and in this server where lvling 1 -200 takes an hour you shouldnt overthink the priority of link skills. (Do get utility link skills first, like EXP boost, though)

1--200 in 1 hour? its hard for me now cause i dont really know anyone yet and no one willing to help me :(

If i can get online, I am willing to leech you from level 42 to 200 in exchange for your level 190 giftbox (stamp). Or you can just find a 120 -200 leech service (also paid with stamp), provided you get to level 120 first. You dont have to worry about having meso for payment because you are awarded a stamp @ level 190 and you can pay people with that.
